Delivery and Returns Policy

DELIVERY

Orders placed by 3pm will be delivered within 24 hours (subject to stock and postcode). Specific delivery dates can be offered if required – mobile phone number is preferable with this option.
Deliveries are flat pack to door.
Orders may be delivered between 9.00am and 5.30pm
Seating orders – Deliveries that fail due to customer being unavailable are subject to a redelivery charge £6.50 per chair.
Seating orders – Refused/cancelled orders will be subject to a handling charge of £12 per chair once despatched from manufacturer.
Furniture/Mixed orders – Deliveries that fail due to customer being unavailable are subject to a minimum redelivery charge of £42.50 per order.
Furniture/Mixed orders – Refused/cancelled orders will be subject to a handling charge, price will be issued upon request once despatched from manufacturer.
Offshore postcodes are subject to additional delivery cost and extended lead times.

RETURNS

DAMAGES. Sometimes furniture may receive minor damage during delivery or may contain a manufacturing defect. OFW will replace or repair any defective items at no cost to the buyer. Any damages or defects must be reported to OFW by email or by fax within 24 hours of delivery. On assembly should a part appear to be missing from an item you should advise OFW by email or by fax within 24 hours with a description of the part you believe to be missing.

Dry Wipe and Notice Boards. All damages should be reported within 24 hours of delivery otherwise claims cannot be entertained. A description of any damage to product or packaging should be made on the consignment note before signing. If possible pictures of damage should be emailed to OFW to assist with the claims process.

Goods correctly ordered and supplied to a business purchaser are not returnable.

Since we operate a business to business web site it is unlikely that Distance Selling Regulations will apply as they relate only to the private buyer. They give the private buyer the right to cancel an order by giving written notice within 7 working days from the day after that on which the goods are received. If by chance a private buyer is supplied then the goods must be returned in their original packaging. Unused, unassembled and in a re-saleable condition. OFW will not be responsible for collecting the goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer to return the goods – at their own expense – to the OFW Birmingham Warehouse. Credit will not be given for goods that are returned damaged. Goods assembled on site are not returnable. Refund will be made within 7 days of receipt of the goods at the OFW Birmingham Warehouse.
